About CopyTraderScout

CopyTraderScout exists for one reason: to give traders an honest, independent source of information about copy trading platforms and signal providers. We believe that people deserve clear, unbiased reviews before they hand their money over to any platform — and that is exactly what we aim to provide.

Our Mission

The copy trading industry is full of hype. Platforms promote cherry-picked return figures. Signal providers show screenshots of winning trades and hide the losing ones. Marketing materials promise passive income with little risk.

We cut through that noise. Our mission is to publish detailed, evidence-based reviews that help you understand what each platform actually offers — the good, the bad, and everything in between. We look at regulation, fee structures, usability, trader transparency, and verified track records. We score every platform using the same standardized methodology so you can compare them fairly.

We are not here to tell you which platform to use. We are here to give you the information you need to decide for yourself.

Editorial Independence

Independence is the foundation of everything we publish. Here is what that means in practice:

  • No affiliate links. We do not earn commissions or referral fees from any platform we review. When we link to a platform, it is a plain link with no tracking codes attached.
  • No sponsored content. No platform can pay to improve its score, appear higher in our rankings, or have negative findings removed from a review. Every review is written independently by our editorial team.
  • No financial advice. We are reviewers, not financial advisors. Nothing on this site should be treated as a recommendation to invest, trade, or use any particular platform. Always do your own research and consider your own financial situation before making any decisions.
  • Clear separation of editorial and advertising. If we ever display advertising on this site, it will be clearly labeled and will never influence the content of our reviews or ratings.

How We Work

Each review on CopyTraderScout follows a structured process. We open real accounts on the platforms we review — not demo accounts — and test the copy trading functionality firsthand. We examine the regulatory status of each platform, read the fine print on fee schedules, and verify trader performance data where possible.

We score every platform on a 1-to-5 star scale across five criteria: Regulation and Safety, Fees and Costs, Platform Usability, Trader Selection and Transparency, and Track Record Verification. You can read a full explanation of our scoring system on our Methodology page.

We also publish guides and educational content about copy trading more broadly. These articles are designed to help you understand how copy trading works, what the risks are, and how to evaluate any platform or signal provider — whether we have reviewed it or not.

Who We Are

Our reviews are written and maintained by The Scout Team — a group of independent reviewers with experience in forex and CFD trading, financial technology, and consumer product analysis. We are not affiliated with any broker, platform, or signal provider.

We do not publish individual team member profiles because our goal is to keep the focus on the quality of the reviews themselves, not on personal branding. The work speaks for itself, and our methodology ensures consistency regardless of which team member leads a particular review.

Corrections and Updates

Copy trading platforms change their features, fees, and regulatory status over time. We make every effort to keep our reviews up to date, and we clearly note the date of last review on every page. If you spot something that is outdated or incorrect, we want to hear about it.

You can reach us through our contact page. We take corrections seriously and will update our content as quickly as we can verify new information.

A Note on Risk

Copy trading involves real financial risk. Past performance — whether from a platform, a signal provider, or a trader you are copying — does not guarantee future results. You can lose some or all of the money you invest.

We encourage every reader to treat copy trading the same way they would treat any other form of trading or investing: never risk money you cannot afford to lose, diversify where possible, and always understand the fees and risks involved before you start.
